I’m thrilled to share my colour choices and the reasons behind them. As before, I’ve taken inspiration from both British aesthetics and the unique Australian environment to create a charming and welcoming atmosphere.

For the exterior, I decided to go with a traditional yet elegant look. I chose a warm and inviting shade called “Stonecrop” from British paint brand Farrow & Ball. This earthy tone complements the natural surroundings and brings a touch of English countryside charm to my Australian home. The soft hue blends well with the greenery in the garden and adds a sense of coziness to the façade.

To highlight the architectural details and add a classic touch, I selected a crisp white shade called “Wimborne White” from Farrow & Ball for the trim and window frames. This colour choice not only enhances the overall elegance of the house but also creates a striking contrast against the “Stonecrop” main colour.

Indoors, I aimed to create a balance between timeless appeal and modern sensibility. For the living room, I opted for a versatile and warm neutral called “Elephant’s Breath” from Farrow & Ball. This sophisticated grey undertone works harmoniously with both traditional and contemporary décor styles, making it a perfect choice to cater to my evolving taste.

In the kitchen, I wanted to add a pop of colour while maintaining a sense of sophistication. I chose a charming blue shade named “Blue Gum” from an Australian paint brand, Wattyl. This unique and rich blue hue exudes a coastal vibe, reminding me of the beautiful Australian seascapes and adding a delightful character to the heart of my home.

For the bedrooms, I focused on creating serene and restful spaces. I picked a serene and soft shade called “Calamine” from Farrow & Ball for one bedroom, offering a soothing and tranquil atmosphere that promotes relaxation.

In the other bedroom, I went with a delightful pastel green known as “Green Covert” from Dulux, which brings a touch of nature indoors, creating a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat.

In the bathrooms, I wanted to achieve a spa-like ambiance. I selected a clean and timeless shade named “All White” from Farrow & Ball. This bright white colour enhances the sense of purity and cleanliness, making the bathrooms feel fresh and invigorating.

Overall, my colour choices were a fusion of British sophistication and Australian inspiration, reflecting my desire to create a charming and harmonious living space that celebrates both my love for British aesthetics and my appreciation for the unique beauty of Australia.
