iPaintD.com supports paint profiles from any country in the world. You can record profiles for properties in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States, or anywhere else. The platform is built to be used globally and all major paint brands from any country can be recorded.

A paint colour profile is a complete record of every paint colour used at a property. It includes the colour brand, colour name, paint brand, product range, sheen level and hex colour code for each area of the property such as main walls, feature walls, doors, trim, ceiling, roof and any custom areas you add. Think of it as a permanent colour record card for the property.

All paint profiles on iPaintD.com are public and searchable by anyone. That is the whole point. The property address and paint specifications are visible to everyone so that anyone including a different paint store, a new tenant or a property manager can find the exact colours used at that property. Your personal account details such as your name and email address are never displayed publicly.

Yes. Every profile includes an Entire House section covering standard interior and exterior areas such as main walls, feature walls, doors, trim, ceiling and roof. You can also add unlimited custom areas for specific spaces or features such as Loungeroom, Front Fence, Garage Door, Palings, or any other area you want to record separately. Each custom area has its own colour fields and Interior or Exterior designation.

Yes. When you enter a colour brand and colour name that already exists in the iPaintD colour database, the hex code and colour picker will automatically populate. If the colour is not yet in the database it will be added once you save the profile, helping build the shared colour database for everyone.

Profiles are public by design and cannot be made private. iPaintD.com was built specifically to solve the problem of paint colour information being inaccessible. The whole value of the platform is that anyone can find the colours for any property at any time. If you create a profile, you are contributing to an open registry that benefits every homeowner, painter and tenant.

Yes. You can edit or delete any profile you have created at any time. Log in to your account, go to My Account, find the profile under My Profiles, and click Edit or Delete. Editing lets you update any colour, add new areas or change property details. Deleting permanently removes the profile from the database.

Any paint brand or colour can be recorded on iPaintD.com. When filling out a profile you type in the brand name, colour name, range and sheen level yourself. Whether you use Dulux, Taubmans, Haymes, British Paints, Solver, Wattyl, Colorbond or any other brand locally or internationally, you can record it.

The Free plan lets you search and view all profiles with no account required. The DIY plan is designed for homeowners and allows you to create up to 2 property profiles. The Pro plan is built for trade painters and gives you unlimited profiles, a Verified Pro badge, a business profile card on your paint profiles, a public painter portfolio page, access to the Jobs board to post job listings, and the ability to receive and manage job applications. All plans include full access to the search database.

Yes, you can cancel your plan at any time directly from your account. Go to My Account, click the Plan and Billing tab, and downgrade or cancel. No need to contact anyone and no hoops to jump through.

Trade painters on the Pro plan get a business profile page and are listed in the Painters Directory automatically. Once you upgrade to Pro, go to My Account, click the Business Profile tab, fill in your business details, upload your logo and save. Your painter profile goes live immediately and starts appearing on any profiles you have created.

The Verified Pro badge is available to all users on the Pro plan. Once you upgrade, the badge appears on your painter profile and on all paint profiles you create. This lets homeowners and property managers know they are looking at work completed by a professional painter.

Yes. Pro painters get a public profile page in the Painters Directory. Customers can search by area, view your paint profiles, see your ratings and reviews, and contact you directly. Every profile you create also shows a Painted By card linking back to your business, so anyone viewing a property profile can find you instantly.

Yes. Any logged in user can save a paint colour profile as a favourite by clicking the heart icon on the profile page. Your saved profiles appear in the Favourites tab in your account dashboard for quick access later.

The Jobs Board is a dedicated jobs listing page at ipaintd.com/jobs where painting businesses can post job opportunities and job seekers can find and apply for them. It is built specifically for the painting trade and covers roles such as full time, part time, contract, casual and apprenticeship positions across Australia and New Zealand.

Job listings can be posted by Pro plan users through the Jobs tab in their account dashboard. You can include the job title, type, location, state, pay or budget and a full description. Jobs are displayed publicly on the Jobs Board immediately after posting.

Click View and Apply on any job listing. You will be taken to the full job page where you can read the complete description and submit your application including your name, phone number, a message and an optional resume in PDF, DOC or DOCX format. Applications are sent directly to the business by email and stored in their account dashboard for review.

Job applications are managed in the Jobs tab of your account dashboard. You will see each application listed under the relevant job with the applicant name, contact details, message and a Download Resume button if they attached one. You can reply directly by email from within the dashboard.

Yes. Logged in users can send messages directly to painters through the platform. Click the Contact Painter button on any painter profile page or paint profile to start a conversation. Messages are managed in the Messages section of your account.
